Demo:
Quicksilver Audio Full Preamplifier
An exceptional preamp, the Full Preamplifier is Mike Sanders’ top of the line. This was the first iteration produced. The second iteration has some minor changes (mostly cosmetic, along with a simplified phono stage circuit) and retails for $3900. We displayed this particular unit for our RMAF 2008 demo system with superb results. Based on the 6H30 “super tube”, this preamp has an output impedance of 1.5 ohms and can drive virtually anything. Point-to-point wired, this fine preamp doubles as a knock-out headphone amplifier and even sports a first class MM phono stage. Even an extra grounded AC outlet on the back! This preamp is pure music! Take it home for only $2400! Sale is final. |

Discontinued:
Quicksilver Audio Phono Preamplifier
According to Mike Sanders, this is the very last of the Phono Preamplifier line. There are no more chassis parts, so no more units will be built. For its tube gain stages, this phono preamplifier utilizes one 12AX7 and one 6922. Gain is 44dB. Check out the review in HiFiNews (January, 2004). Retailing for $895, we will let it go for $750. That is some kind of deal for the fabulous build quality that Quicksilver is known for. Sale is final. |
